PM returned to Baidoa to more violence.
Mogadishu, (insidesomalia.org) - At least seven of the Somali Federal Government soldiers were wounded on Saturday at Baidoa, the official site of the Somali Parliament after a road side bomb believed to be a landmine went off as a convoy of military trucks drove by.
The blast occurred after several of the convoy trucks set out from Isha Bridge, a bridge that links parts of Baidoa town to the other districts of the Bay region.
Somali military alongside with the Somali police came to the scene sealing off the area afterwards.
The incident comes a day after the newly appointed Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein "Nur Adde" arrived in Baidoa after visiting Ethiopia and Portugal. In Addis Ababa the PM had discussions with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and
Ethiopian Prime Minister Melles Zenawi on the developments of the Somali conflict and in Lisbon the PM attended the African /EU Summit in Lisbon, Portugal.
The Somali Prime Minister said the government will try a plan to have a dialogue with the opposition to resolve the on-going fighting between the government forces backed by the Ethiopian army against Insurgents.
Local Authorities imposed a strict curfew starting from 21:00p.m to 06: 00am in the morning people are banned going outside their homes.
